Default Blazer won't run longer than 2 seconds

Having some issues this morning. Went to leave and at first, the Blazer wouldn't run at all. It turns over just fine. So, I removed the air intake from the tb and pour a few drops of gas in it. Presto, it runs for like 5 seconds. The fuel pump primes every time I turn the key. After pouring gas in it that one and only time, it will now run for a second or 2. idle drops, it tries to recover, and dies immediately. Any ideas? I replaced the fuel pump about a year ago with an airtex unit. Thanks!

Ah, AirTex strikes again! Use these diagnostic steps, but you may be buying a genuine AC/Delco or Delphi pump soon.

That's what I figured. Went and picked up a fuel press. gauge. Looks like I'm only getting 50-57 psi while cranking.

Default Run for 2 seconds

Is the 'Security' light on or blinking? It should go out after the bulb test of a few seconds.
If it stays on or blinks, it's likely the ignition switch. I replaced mine a few months ago to cure the brief start/shut down symptom. The security light was blinking.

No security light blinking. Pulled the tank in about 20 mins. I'm inside cooling off right now. I went and picked up a Federal Mogul/Carter pump ***'y. They wanted $350 for a Delco at Napa and $520 from the dealership.
