Default 94 Jimmy taking longer to start than usual

Hey guys, my 94 s15 Jimmy with the 4.3 CPI is taking longer to start than usual. It cranks at a normal speed but it used to start on a quick bump and now it takes up to a few seconds of cranking to it to start up. I noticed that if I bump the key for a quick second then try it again, it starts faster. Once it does start, it comes to life like normal with no bogging or hesitation and continues to run fine. If it's been sitting for a few minutes, it'll start quickly but if it waits any longer and it has to crank more. What could it be?

Oh and when it's cranking, there's no farting or popping... all I hear is the starter.

Install a fuel pressure gauge on the fuel rail and start it... take note of the pressure and shut off the engine.
If the pressure drops way down to very low or nothing after a few hours then you have found your problem... the check valve in the fuel pump.

Ya I was thinking maybe the fuel pump is getting weak with age.
