Default Blazer Xtreme Shocks Replacements HELP????

i have an 03 xtreme blazer with 154k and has the original shocks on it, so id like to replace them but im having a hard time finding good ones that make them for the front and rear. I wanted to put KYB but they tell me they dont make rear shocks for the blazer xtreme. They only ones ive found that i think are good are Monroe Relex shocks. If anyone has any suggestions and part numbers that would be much helpful.

It depends on how much you want to pay. I have had good luck with monroe sensatracs. I put on all 4. Not sure if they will fit the xtreme. Have yoh looked into rancho or bilstein?

It depends what kind of ride you want. Monroe Reflex Monotube is a step above the Sensa-trac. It has a larger cylinder, and the ride is much more firm. Sensa-trac is more of a "car" shock and gives a "mushy" ride whereas the Monotube is noticeably stiffer and more "heavy duty".

The Monotubes will stiffen it up and keep body roll to a bare minimum. Check your sway bar end links, front and rear, make sure they're good. A broken end link will cause excessive body roll.

If you CAN find a KYB shock replacement, I recommend the Gas-A-Just. It's a monotube shock with a nice and firm, but not too rough of a ride. I've been pleased with the results. The Shocks were about 40-45 bucks a piece from Amazon.

I had sensa-tracs on for about two weeks and removed them as the ride was worse then the old shocks they replaced. The ride was rough and squishy.

BTW, I drive a 98 LT 4dr.
