blinkers not working

Hi all, I'm trying to fix my girlfriends 96 blazer, her blinkers stopped working the other day and I tried replacing the hazard switch because her old one was broken. I used
When I put it where the old busted hazard switch was her new button is kinda touched as to whether or not the hazards stay off, but it didn't fix her blinkers. The blinkers flash while the hazard is on, but not if I use the signal. (Her rear right turn light is out too apparently)
Did I get the wrong switch, is there something I missed? The fuses in the dash seemed OK when I checked it with my tester light stick deal

The flasher (relay) might be out. There are two of them, identical, but one is for the hazard lights and the other is for the turn signals. GM or AC-Delco part # 19209674, find it on Amazon or Rock Auto or at your local parts house or $tealership. It should be around $12 +/- for the genuine part from a reasonable source. I think $tealership "list price" is just over $20, but it's available from dealer parts online for around $12 as well.

Yes, that's the part!
Your Walmart stocks those? Mine says "Buy Online for pickup Tue, Jun 7".
The local parts places have them in stock. I checked my CarQuest and Advance, Oreilly and Napa. All had that part of an equivalent. Prices were from $6.50 to $15, depending on store and brand.
You see the picture (on the Walmart link you posted). There are two of them, and on your 1996, they should be under the dash, behind the knee bolster, not far from the center and the cigarette lighter plug(s), IIRC. I just turn on the one that works (hazards in your case) and listen for the clicking noise. The part you're looking for is the noisy part.
If you need turn signals now, but can do without hazard lights, swap the two flashers. The problem should switch to the other circuit. If you swap them, and the turn signals still don't work and your hazards work, the problem is elsewhere.
