Default Blowing Smoke

my Blazer started blowing a little whitish smoke a few days ago and I figured it was because it needed a major tune up.
(I just bought the Blazer)
last night I noticed the oil gauge was going up and down at the same time the RPM was going up and down.
and today it is Really blowing smoke, and it won't idle.
the temp is around 150 but I had to add at least 3 gallons of anti freeze.
the dipstick looks like chocolate milk and on the right side of the motor/fender well, it looks like the same color of stuff is all over it.

so, head gasket, or frost plug blew out, what do You guys think?
I called a junk yard and they offered me $550.00 for it (I just paid $1,700)

The lower intake manifold gaskets are a known issue with the 4.3L. If it were me I would find out where is was leaking before I took an $ 1150.00 hit but that is your call.

A Compression Test is easy and cheap.

How many miles on your Blazer?

LIM for sure and now PROBABLE head gaskets. Maybe freeze plug, too.
Whatever.. the engines toast.

Rocket... this isnt personal, you are far from the only one I'm addressing this to.

Either take the money and run or FINALLY get yourself educated.
You've been looking for a Blazer quite a while, since June.
In that period of time there must have been 50 or more cases of Lower Intake Manifold problems on here.
In a LOT of those, there was mention of what coolant in the engine look like. Exactly as you describe.

And here's the bad news.. when you bought that truck the evidence was right there on the dipstick and under the oil fill cap. And anyone on this site should have known to look.
And if you'd changed the LIM gaskets first thing you might have been able to save the engine. Price shows you weren't screwed too bad on the buy.

So.. what were you doing all that time? Between June and the 15th? Designing your sig?

I'll say this .. it's cool and you'll always have it.

Doesnt your state have a lemon law, I would go back to the person who sold it to you, if you just bought it. And with the oil looking like a milkshake, the damage is probably already done

I just bought the truck a week ago. the dipstick looked good and it ran ok.
it idled very rough but I figured it needed a good tune up.
well, I guess it was the gasket or whatever going out.
honestly, I'll lose $1,000 but I'll be out from under this piece of crap.
