Default brake bleeding

I recently replaced my brake pads and now the master cylinder is making a groaning noise. I checked in book and evidently I bled them wrong. The book says there is some king of pin that needs to be pushed in the whole time you are bleeding the brakes. I have a 1995 blazer and I can not find this pin. Can some one please help? This pin is supposed to be on the combination valve(which I can not find) and this valve is supposed to be open.

the proportioning valve sometimes has a button that has to be pushed to reset the presure. really dont know that much about, everytime i ever tried to mess with one of those buttons its siezed anyways. but ive done a ton of brake jobs on s10s and other models and never really had to mess with that button.

keep pumping your brakes and look under the car to make sure you dont have a blown line or leaking at any of the wheels. if the fluid is not going anywhere then its possible it could be the master cylinder. if the fluid is leaking but you cant find out where its going. sometimes the back of the master cylinders blow out and all the fluid goes into the booster

Brakes are a pain in the butt on these Blazers. I replaced my brake booster and have tried everything except the power bleeder (tight budget and in no hurry) and I hope thats all my problem is.
