Default Brake booster & Master

Wondering if I can replace the brake booster & master cylinder on my 2000 blazer with one from an older model that has no ABS. If so whitch model and do I need to do anything else & if not what can I do to wash my hands of the ABS box on the LF fender well?

The brake booster and master cylinder really have nothing to do with the ABS system. The pressure from the master cylinder feeds through the EBCM and then out to the wheels.

Why not fix your problem rather than just tear it out?

Wheel space?? Nevermind, saw your other posts. Just bypass the EBCM. That won't take care of the ABS/Brake light being on in your cluster though. You'll have to get it programmed out of your PCM.

You may want to go through your local DMV laws though. Tampering with safety devices such as ABS may be against the law.
