Brakes lock up

You said proportioning valve earlier. That's in the brakes. An EGR valve has to do with the engine and NOTHING to do with the brakes!

I was honestly unaware what an EGR valve was, i was in a hurry to get to work so i didn't bother to ask for an explanation.
I did say proportioning valve earlier, like i said i was trying to find possible issues.
