Default Bravada lumbar problem

I'm looking at buying a '98 Bravada. The passenger side lumbar support in the seat back seems to be non-operational, the switch has no effect on it. Does anybody have some ideas on what the solution may be? Thanks, Jason

The little hose that airs up the bag in the seat is bad about ripping out if memory serves me correctly. You know me I'm not very 2nd gen savvy so maybe somebody that knows better will chime in.

The problem seems to be that it's inflated and won't deflate. The wife was complaing about the seat having a hard spot in it.

I had the same issue with the seats I put in my Jimmy. I took them out of a Bravada (although I can't remember the year). I found that it would deflate if I took my weight off of it. I'm guessing the rubber inside the bag (near the hole the hose attaches to) was going bad and covering the hole. Once I let the pressure off of it, it flexed back to it's original position enough that it could release the air.
