Default Breakline Troubles

I have a 2001 Chevy Trail Blazer. I have to get parts under "Blazer" due to only so many of these Trail Blazers being made. At any rate, I seem to have leaking somewhere under the master cylinder and also between the drivers side front & rear doors along the rear main supply line. First question, should I Isolate the area of the leak by clamping off the 4 rubber tubes on the brake lines with vice grips or other type of clamping devices- remove one vice grip at a time-then press on the brakes to find exact leak locations? 2nd question, Is the rear main supply line running down the frame rail 1/4" and is it easier for me to bend it after feeding the new line through?
Thanx, Hammerwolf

Yea depending on what brake line you get its pretty easy to bend by hand

DO NOT PINCH off lines , it can collapse them and cause brake drag and all other types of issues

refill fluid and start pumping brakes , look for the dripping

if you can get "armoured" brake line it wrapped with spring and even easier to bend a cheap bending tool is another option

remove the entire length you need to replace
takes the fitting ends to the part store so you can match size, flare style
the parts store can give you a combination of shorter lengths and unions to make reinstallation easier
