Angry Broken studs from header to pipe

I was removing my transmission pan so i could change out my trans fluid. Needed to move the exhaust a little bit so i had enough room to clear it. When i put my socket on the nuts that hold the exhaust to the headers all three snapped almost right away. It sounds like a pissed off tractor now and its terrible. Any ideas on how i can reconnect the exhaust without going to a shop?

Oh boy, that does not sound good. I'm at a loss for ideas.

Just take it to a good muffler shop and get the broken bolts removed. They deal with this all the time - and have the equipment and knowledge. Probably not going to be cheap if you broke off all three.

It might be cheaper to replace the manifold if you can do it yourself. I can't vouch for the quality of aftermarket ones, but they're pretty inexpensive.

My bets a shop won't bother with it and just do a replacement = extra cost to you.
If you remove the manifold and try to drill out the broken studs yourself you may get lucky BUT>>>>>>
90% of the time threads are ruined from the heat and corrosion over the years.
On occasion I have been lucky and been able to retap them.
Also there is the fact usually the manifold warps with the heat over the years and the bolt holes won't line up to the heads when you try to reinstall. Years ago we did use a rose bud {large torch heating tip} to heat and pull a few back into shape but cracked and ruined a few too.
A replacement at Rockauto is under a 100 bucks and looks like they come with all new mounting hard ware
