So I was working on my 1997 Blazer to replace the Spider injectors, and in the process of re-assembly, I broke a plastic connector that connects one of two braided wire cables to the Throttle Body.

Now from what I've been looking into, this appears to be the Cruise control cable and NOT the Accelerator cable. Problem is, I can't find a replacement for this connector. Everything I find is for the 2000+ style, pictured here:
My question(s) are as follows:
1: Does anyone have a source/link to a version of the connector that will fit mine? From what I've seen the 2000's version does not fit the earlier models due to a different sized hole.
2: Is this cable in fact JUST the cruise control connector cable?
And going off of 2,
3: Is it perfectly fine and safe to drive the vehicle with this cable disconnected for the time being, in case this is a Junkyard only part?
that is the Accelerator cable, NOPE: Cruise control cable, Is probably a junkyard only part but in theory you could use a 2000s connector im just not sure how they are connected to the cable.
My thought was just grabbing a TB and cable from a later year in a junkyard, as they're more prevailiant. Thing is, I'm not sure if the other end of the cable is the same hookup as mine. If it's not, puts a damper there.
I read Here in the last post the guy stating that the newer style doesn't fit quite right as the hole it goes into is too small?
