best bet is to pay the $50 or whatever a local shop will charge to go over it. sometimes when you put them up in the air you find a lot of things wrong with them especially if your in a state they use road salt .the truck might run and drive fine but put it up on a lift and you might need brake and fuel lines and your rear springs might be ready to fall off

I live in poland. And here I buy a car. I can check them out only organoleptically. We have a system that will tell me the story of the car after the VIN.
