Default buying tires?

where do i go to buy bigger than stock tires?i have gone to many websites and all they sell are the stock size tires.......also...wat is the widest that will fit on the stock 15 inch rims...is it the 235s?

Yeah I Think They Are.....You Could Goto, My Place Of Work But Thats A Lil Far Away.....But Disscount, Bell-Tire, Or Pretty Much And Tire Shop Can Get Them...... You Gotta Tell Them What Size Ya Want...

www.tirerack.com is pretty good. i got some 30x9.5s pretty cheap.

The widest tire you can fit on the stock 15x7" rims is 11". A general rule is 4" wider then the rim. 4.5" is OK, however 5" is pushing it.

All tire manufactures have recommended rim dimensions for every tire they sell.

The biggest tire that will fit on a stock S10 Blazer is 30" diameter. The most common size 30" tires is 30x9.5R15. This is the biggest tire you can fit ont he stock wheels without modifing the truck in any way. If you go with after market wheels, you might have problems fitting 235/75R15 tires on a stock truck. The backspacing is critical on the s-series trucks.

Who makes tires that will fit? And which tires do I recommend from each manufacture?
BFG - All Terrains.
Goodyear - Mud Terrains
Cooper - Discovery ST
Interco - TSL Radials

I am lookinh to put a set of maxxis Buckshot mudders size 30x9.50R15LT or 31x10.50R15LT on my 4x4 98 Jimmy. Does anyone know if these wil fit with out any modifications?

i just bought me a set of 30x9.5R15 bfg all terrain....im going to put them on my 2000 chevy blazer 4x4 LS....cant wait to see what they look like....and if the dont fit...Hanr3 im holding u fully responsible...lol...jk....just thought i would throw my 2 cents worth in here

i thought i saw somewhere that you could fit a 32" tire on non-stock(i think they had 4 inch backspaceing) rims with a 2 inch body lift. Anyone else seen or heard of this?
