buzzing sound in roof

Default buzzing sound in roof

yesturday night, it was calm outside with no noise and i was clearing my check engine light with my scanner. when i put my keys to ON without starting the truck, i noticed something right over my head inside the headliner buzzing.

what can it be ?

I'm guessing that you have the automatic climate control (numbers around the temperature dial). If that is the case, the cabin air temperature sensor will be located just ahead of the b-pillar post on the headliner. It has a small fan inside that pulls air through the sensor. They like to get dusty/dirty. Take a can of compressed air and blow out the sensor.

yes i have the automatic climate control, thank you very much for the answer !
i think it wil stay like this cause i dont feel like dropping the head liner ! looks like a lot of work just to fix a small issue !
