I have a 98 4dr 4x4 lt blazer and when i try to turn on my ac the light just blinks twice and turns off does anybody know why this does this?

 

is the fan speed **** on "OFF" ? if it is, the ac light will blink and then stay off

 

nah it does it even when its on full blast and stuff..my recirculate button does it too..

 

Recirc is ONLY available in one of the panel modes (air blowing out the vents in the front of the dash), and IIRC the compressor will only engage in those modes and defrost modes.....can't be sure on the second part though.
