a/c blower problems?

Default a/c blower problems?

i have a 2000 chevy blazer four door w/ the v6. every time i turn on my a/c it starts making a noise like is clanking or something of some what like that but it also happens when my heater is on too. is this my blower motor going out? and if so where can i locate my blower motor for my a/c / heater?

You most likely have something in the fan. The fan can be removed from the engine compartment, however, there is a cover in the way... It can be a pain to remove, especially if you are trying to remove it in one piece. The cover really only insulates the heater/ac box from engine heat.

It is right in front of the passenger seat on the fire wall if I recall correctly.

located on passenger side right behing ecu before firewall..you may still have plastic cover over yours there is instructions on how to tear this away to access fan....replacing it is no problem when it is out its getting one of the bottom screws out that hold the fan that is a pain in the rear end lol..easiest way possible would be to un hook battery..remove resovior (spelling) remove bolts which hold ecu to res....set it aside this will give you a little more room which you are going to def need..let us know how it turns out..did mine not too long ago and took me 1 hr of time to remove and install
