Default Is the a/c buttom supposed to illuminate??

On the hvac controls at night time all the buttons at the bottom are lit up, the fresh air, the recirculate air, the defroster, but the a/c button doesn't light up (the little light in the corner comes on when pushed). I was wondering if it even has a light? It's odd because it's the only thing I can't see at night.

Yeah, It should light up. I'm not sure what sized bulb it uses or even how to change it though
