Exclamation A/C clutch fuse problem

Hello everybody

I have a problem in my 00 GMC JIMMY in HVAC system , the problem is that 10 amp A/C clutch fuse blown every time I switch on the a/c this problem start after I add double cooling fans on a/c condenser. I was power these two fans from air compressor +12 clutch wire so, I was think maybe it take to much amps that's why the fuse blown. I was trying to change the fuse from 10 amp to 20 amp fuse it works great but after few months the relay gets hot and the terminal melt and become loose. Today I change the fuse box today but I don't know how can I connect the a/c condenser fans without effect a/c clutch power and operation.

Can any one help me to re-wire the fan correctly?

thank you

I would not increase the existing fuse value, you can start a fire.

I would run a new fused power wire of the correct gauge to the new device.

What George said. Then, you can use the wire that powers the AC clutch to trigger a separate relay for your fans. This would not be ideal, though, because the fans should run continuously while the AC is operating, not just when the clutch is engaged.

The best option is to buy a fan controller made specifically for this purpose, and wire it according to the manufacturer's instructions.

This is what I'm using, but there are many others available from places like Summit Racing.
