I found a/c compressor kit on ebay for $170 shipped. The brand is universal air condition. Im not sure if brand matters that much on these or if this is a reputable brand. Any info would be great, thanks. The local gm dealer couldnt locate a a/c delco compressor. My mechanic priced one at $290 and im not sure of the brand of that one.

 

Don't know about the brand but just make sure you also replace the Accumulator and orifice tube at the same time-very important. Both are inexpensive and easy to replace. I assume the "kit" has those parts as well?
