To check out the control signals, look at wire going into the 'clear / natural / no color' plug at the VCM {computer}

Pin 1 {Dark Grn/white stripe} should be ground if heater control and ACcum cycling sw and hi-press cutout allow and call for compressor

 

Capt. Hook: When rechecking everything per post #2, we found that bypassing the low pressure switch DID kick in the compressor (we must have had a bad jumper when we tried earlier). Freon added. Pressure switch works too after freon. Crossing our fingers the leak was very small.
