Are you adding the Intrepid electric fan in addition to the stock mechanical fan? Putting the Intrepid fan in front of the radiator and keeping the stock one in the stock position. Or eliminating the stock mech. fan? The new Chevy/GMC trucks have elec. fans from the factory. Has any one tried using a GM elec. fan?

 

I think using a newer GM fan wouldn't be much different from the intrepid fans. Both are meant for a different vehicle so some custom fitting would be required. The benefits to the in Intrepid fans are that they are plentiful, work well, and dirt cheap from a u pull.
