A/C problems

Default A/C problems

I think my clutch is going my on my a/c, is this something I can replace, or is this a shop job? If I can do it is there a break down picture of the part I need to see ?? help !!

You should take your VIN to a parts counter, they can tell you if it is available AND show you an exploded diagram..heck even print one for you to take home. Some are available seperate some aren't....they aren't too bad to change but you will probably need at least a spanner wrench and possibly a special puller...they also need to be shimmed correctly..which usually requires disassembly at least two or three times.

mine went and i said f' it untill summer, so in the meantime i got a bypass pully for real cheap. i will replace the whole compressor then. that clutch was a b'itch to try and get off
