detroit locker or trutrac

Default detroit locker or trutrac

Hey guys I am in the process of getting a new rear diff for my 98 chevy blazer I offroad a little but i drive in the snow alot and want something better then my open diff know do you think i should go with a detroit locker or get the tru trac wich is a limited slip any info would really help me decide what to get. thanks alot

hmmm.. get a lunchbox locker, easier to install.

May not keep you straight in a line in the snow though. you might find yoursekf sideways when you accerate, even from a dead stop.

I would recommend a tru trac as a locker may be over kill for your application.
