Does anyone know what size wrench I need to remove the caliper off a 2003 Blazer 4x4?

3/4...too big

11/16...too small

19mm...too big

17mm...too small

Yeah, 18mm!!!!!!!!

You know, the size that they LEAVE OUT of most ~consumer~ metric socket and wrench sets!!!

For me, which started the great pawn shop search of 2008. After searching high and low, I nabbed about 3 18mm wrenches, and 3 18mm sockets. They're hard to find.

 

+1 on the 18mm i would also suggest getting more than one, i just did my brakes a few weeks ago and went through one 18mm ratchet wrench and one 18mm socket.

 

18mm...yup...the one I dont have and didnt come with my set! lol

Metric is such an odd set. Starting with 18mm, theres a lot of missing sizes from standard sets.
