Can this possibly be right?

LOL if you think my rears were bad all I had left up front were the cups! Altogether I have changed out the front stabilizer links, added the new front stops and the rear jounce bumpers. I then adjusted the torsion bars (lower) to a Z height measurement of 124 mm (recommended range 114-128 mm). Truck is now far more stable.

So I changed out the front stops and replaced the rears as well. For those that don't know (I didn't) the rears are called jounce bumpers and play and active role in the suspension by adding a progressive spring rate. Could be the placebo effect but even on a short run truck feels much more stable. They come into play after about 2" of travel.

Looking for jounce bumpers
Sir I am trying to find new rear jounce bumpers like the ones shown in your picture. The AC DELCO number is 15962403, but it is discontinued part (December 2022). Do you know where I can get them or aftermarket part that works?

I agree 100% with perumotors1369. What you first installed was what was also on my 2000 LT w/Z85 suspension. Replaced my worn out originals with the same. Yes, clearance is minimal, but that's how it is. Also, if you were to take a moment to check the RockAuto listing, you would see that the part listing states 4WD, without RPO code ZR2. And yes, if I recall, I also had to bend out the small locating tab slightly. Not a big deal to me. I do believe the ones you've installed are for 2WD, also referred to as RWD, but if they work for you, then so be it.

you'll see who is wrong when you get the part.....I've done hundreds of these things...My guess is you've done a few less than I.....What you ordered goes on the upper 'A' frame...not where you've installed your bump stop...you have the correct one...The Z thing you spoke of is a ZR2 Blazer and actually your vehicle or the ZR2 can utilize that same 'bump' stop..Good luck..I tried...

I don't know if it makes any difference, but I recently translated the entire RPO tag and took note of the following:
ZW7 SUSPENSION PACKAGE, PREMIUM SMOOTH RIDE
I'm now pretty sure those old round front bump stops were not factory, but had been installed/replaced by someone long before I got the vehicle. Whoever did it made the same mistake I did originally by blindly trusting a parts retailer's catalog.
Since the original post, I've put a few thousand miles on the truck and, since I don't take it off road, the Delco bump stop still looks new and the ride is still perfect with no bottoming out.
