Default Canister Purge Solenoid and Vent Solenoid

1999 4WD
If I Electrically disconnect both of these, Will I get a check Engine light or not?
I've been chasing a PO442 code and I'm frustrated. I've taken apart the Vent valve and cleaned it. Ran voltage to it and it snaps open and shut nicely. I 've replaced the Gas cap.
And I can't figure why the Purge solenoid by the Intake manifold would be an issue. I'm done playing, Just make it go away

Is it hard starting when cold out? Check your Intake Air Temp sensor. It is the little sensor in the intake elbow tube. It costs about $13 at Auto Zone.

Starts and runs fine in all temps. Just a Check Engine after Clearing the codes. People point me to these Evap components. Disassembled the one in the rear by the Spare tire. It snaps open and closed nicely, all seems good.
code PO442

Why would a cold start sensor contribute to this Code?

Check to make sure all your vacuum lines are in good working order. They run from the transmission up between your rotor cap and firewall. Should be three of them and mine are 7/32 hoses. One runs into the driverside fender above the brake master cylinder. There is a another one that connects to that one that runs into the top of the intake manifold. I had the same code and went through everything you did. Ended up being vac hoses. $1 per foot at autozone.
