Hi,
I have just changed my ignition switch on my 1997 Blazer, but whilst removing the old ignition switch, I have snapped the peg that comes off the plastic disk that pushes into the ignition switch.
Can anyone help -
What do you call the plastic disk with peg coming out?
Any ideas where to buy one?
Thanks
Eden

Does it look like it part of a changeable item or is it formed plastic from the dash.

sounds like you are talking about the key buzzer alarm. A new one comes with the newignition switch. It says to rotated is 90 degrees to get it out. Thelittle arm on mine broke when I rotated it but Igot a new one with a new switch so no biggie.Hope this helps.

Sorry, I am confusing everyone.
If you are holding the ignition switch in your hand and then look into the hole where it pushes into under the key there is a white plastic tab sticking out which pushes into the ignition switch.
That is the thing that is broken.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Eden,
Are you talking about the igniton switch that has all the wires to it or are you talking about the lock and cylinder that the key actually goes into? This may help.

The actual switch ie where the wires go in.
When you remove the ignition switch (ie the box with the wires go in) there is a slot on the front of it which is turned to start the car. The piece I am talking about is the disk with the tab that pushes INTO that slot on the ignition switch.
Thanks
