I have not worked on a car for 20 years so things are different... I need to replace the thermostat but can't find a drain on the bottom of the radiator. Is there one? Is there another way to get the fluid down so I can replace the thermostat without flooding the drive? Weshard

On my 98 4X4, the drain for the radiator is on the passenger side, on the back side of the radiator (facing the engine), not on the bottom. On my 4X4, I can only access it from the top side due to bash plate. On my 4X4, there is a drain hose connected to the drain. Nice set up, doesn't get all over the place when draining. It is a plastic drain plug that makes about 1/2 to 1 turn and stays on the radiator.
