please can some one help me i have a chevrolet blazer v6 auto with a none start condition the immobiliser light acts as it should.
its a 4.3 my 1999. the ignition switch is activated and nothing happens!!!!!
The battery is ok i have sent a voltage probe to the starter via the relay and the starter turn but no engine start with ignition on
the ignition switch is sending a voltage down the wiring below the column
I thought it may be related to the start inhibit switch located on the left of the transimission unit
I tried to seperate the connections at the switch oops pulled 2 wires out of the back of the lower plug
i cannot seperate the upper connection the connection is so tight when i tried it broke the plastic outer casing for the unit
I am thinking the connections may have water ingress and be corroded together or they may just be tight?
are loom connections available seperate i think not and am going to ring about a breaker tomorrow to reapair the damage i have caused

ACD2209D Neutral Safety Switch this the unit on the side of the auto transmission unit i need a replacement these seem widely available in the states(about $13)but cannot seem to get one in the uk the connections are very tight and may have adhesive between them to stop them working loose i also need a connection plug for the lower part of the unit the NPN circuit. I am thinking this may be an ignition switch problem i have a full wiring shematic and will check it out soon. any thoughts ideas?
