I have a 95 blazer with the vortec
Brand new starter my mistake the power wire touched the manifold arched a lil turning the key 3-5 times and starts runs great, sometimes starts right up,
I think it cooked the relay a little. Also passenger side firewall where the 3 relays are there is a ground behind them ask the rubber melted off I assume from the power hitting the manifold...
I'd like to fix it but am not opposed to a toggle switch to run starter independently. Any help please....

I would start with that melted ground wire. Repair or replace it. Take a close look at those relays. I've seen the plastic melt on those. You could test them by swapping it with one that you know works. It's easier to replace a relay than to add wiring for a starter. If you do add the wiring, I would recommend a button instead of a toggle switch.
