Funny. I've had that incessant clicking noise going for about 4 years now with out any noticeable malfunctions. The issue was tracked down to the multifunction switch as stated earlier. Mine stops clicking when I hit the brake pedal and sometimes when I triple click the hazard button. At that time the dealer quoted me like $350 to fix it. After kindly telling them to go... themselves I decided to live with it and one day fix it with an after market or a junk yard special. During those many years I've noticed that in the summer time the relay is like a hamster in it's squeaky wheel, but during the winter that hamster takes long dump and stops running. Who knows maybe one day I'll shoot that hamster and drive in a click free world.
