Need some help. Running along about 55-65 mph and I hear a clunk from the rear end area of my 2001 S10 Blazer ZR2. Does this maybe 10-12 times in a 60 mile span. Feels like a little slip of something. Felt it last week a couple times then yesterday just on the way home from our 70 mile trip. Not on the way though. Any thoughts? Thanks

 

Have you checked your u-joints?

Can you make it happen on slow grade up or down then taking your foot on and off accelerator.

 

I've tried all that. Hard thru the gears no problem. Up a hill no clunk. Just once in a while I get that "clunk" or jerk feel for a split second????

 

almost sounds like the trans is slipping or the pumps giving out causing a random slight lean condition causing a stumble/jerk.

How does the trans fluid look? is it full? (check while at idle,after driving it)
