The Service Engine light came on, and I checked the code, I got P0410 Secondary Air Injection System Malfunction.

Can anyone explain what the issue could be and how major it is.

Not major, I have this code as well. I'm actually getting my PCM flashed to omit this code.

I guess if you have emissions check in your state its major, I heard that your truck wont pass if this isnt working. We dont have that in KY so Im getting rid of that code with the flash. Getting tired of the code appearing with the reader.

Will my AC stop working or something?

 

No, from what a member told me on here, it only works for like 30 seconds or so and then it shuts off, it brings the outside air into the exhaust to make it "cleaner" supposedly and that's it. I noticed in the winter when I cleared the code, it would come back within a week, now that its warm out, its only been on once since march, I just cleared the code last night, maybe it was a fluke but I will see.
