Hey everyone im new to the site ! ... i just bought a 1995 blazer , and the previous owner was a wierdo and messed with it and didnt use a book SO, im left with the wonderful job of fixing his mistakes lol,

ok so i followed the Haynes repair manual and put the crank at DTC on Compression stroke and then pointed the tab on the rotor to the molded "6" on the base of the disty , and poof up came the P1345 code, so i repeated the procedure and then took the truck to autozone and code erased and it popped right back up again, so , i tried again but this time the truck seemed to run alot smoother but forgot to clear the code, cause i thought it would clear itself (yes i was having a dumb moment) but anyways..

my first question is ... does ANYONE have a perfectly running 95 blazer with the "W" vortec engine they could put at DTC and remove their cap and take a picture of the rotor and see if the rotor is DEAD on with the lil 6 or a lil past it (clockwise) or a lil b4 it (counter clock wise) ???

second is has ANYONE had this problem and if so how did you fix it? im guessing just clearing the codes everytime you tried it again lol
