compressor not working
#12
I was wondering *what* had power, accessory, ground... Then I figured it out, you bought a lighted switch. Power goes to a power source, I'll leave to to your own devices figuring out what wire to tap into under that dash. Try to find one that turns off with the key. Accessory would go to the light blue wire on the back of the compressor rear plug in this case, ground goes to a ground. Incidentally when the time comes for you to replace the heater controller there's a 3-wire plug (among other plugs), colors go LT blue, brown, brown. Lt blue is the one you're trying to power, opposite brown is the power source for the switch (which had better have 12v when you turn the key on or that was the problem, and the middle brown wire ignore - that powers the blower high speed relay. Since you're powering a "request" to the VCM for A/C I don't think amperage should be much of an issure.

well it turns out that my everything i had was fine, but today me and my dad were looking at the compressor and he noticed a cable that was unplugged and it turns out that it was indeed the cable the plugs in to the back of the compressor after i plugged it in the compressor turned its self on, i let it run for awhile and took it for a spin and it never turned off so the issue was fixed, we just didnt look around that hard
