Default Constant Belt Squeal

I have an 01 Bravada Platinum that I just picked up as a daily driver. When I got it I noticed a belt squeal. Well I changed the belt, tensioner assembly, and idler pulley. The squeal is still there and doesnt get higher when the rpms go up. I figure before I aim the parts cannon at it I would check and see if anyone else has the same issue. Thanks in advance for any help.

A friens had that on a 05 jimmy and it went away when he bought the Gator back belt and went away from the GM belt......GM even replaced their belt 2 times on warranty.

That's strange it doesn't increase with RPM's.

I would do a process of elimination.
Get a can of spray silicon and hit the inside of the Alternator pulley, if that doesn't help, spray a little behind the PS pulley, etc until you find the culprit or at least eliminate what it is not.

I would take the belt off and run the engine for like 30 seconds and see if the noise is gone. At least then you'll know for sure it's a problem with the belt or something belt driven. Like the other guy said it's weird it doesn't increase with RPM. Running it like that for 30 seconds or a minute or so won't hurt anything.

Goodyear Gatorback is now Continental Elite.
I also a firm believer. My belt squeaked ever since I bought my 89 S15 Jimmy and I tried everything before I read about the Gatorback Belt. It worked.

Check on Amazon for Continental Elite Belt.
