na, i dont drive them diffrent days of the week, the 99 blazer and 94 sonoma are plow trucks and the 2 zr2's are summer vehicles and the 95 and 97 are winter trucks. and for old skool luvr, i believe that it would function the same way, because and electronic flasher has a pre-dertimined flash rate no matter what the amperage is in the circut. and pics of the wildcat will be comming soon.

yeah, i figured that out today Ryan. a buddy of mine has an '04, and was putting in all LED's tonight. when i mentioned about the relay issue, he told me he had found that out last week. turns out he was reinstalling the lights since he had found the rapid flash problem last weekend. to make a long story short, after he had ripped his truck apart trying to find where the short might be (the shop where he bought them said this was the issue), he called the manufacture, and that was the first thing they told him, "change your flasher relay".

I changed out my incandescent blubs for LED's. They required the load resisters on all the lamps, four in total for the rear. Also, make all your checks with the vehicle running.

Changing the flasher doesn't require the resisters, IMHO a band aid fix anyways. Why add more parts to something to fix one simple one.

Hey all, so new to the forum, just got myself an 05 and im loving it. I bought LED's for the taillights and am experiencing hyper-flashing. I know why and how to mod the flasher relay. I dont really want to though. I want to put the HD flasher relay in but i cant seem to find any. Are the ones used universal? does anyone have a make and model of the HD relay and where to get it? Ive been to your basic auto stores and the people working there are dumb founded and say they only have a stock OEM replacement or they dont make one for my truck. Any insight ?

thanks
