coolant leak
I have a coolant leak, but I cant seem to pin point where its coming from… I took off the lower slash guard plastic piece, and I can see coolant about half way up the timing belt cover, but there doesn’t seem to been any on the water pump… I think I’m going to have it looked at tomorrow, but how hard would it be to replace the water pump gasket if that’s wuts leaking? And about how much am I looking at spending to have a shop fix it?
On a side note got the right front wheel bearing fixed this weekend…. Man where tho’s bolts rusty took me about 2 hours but its done now…

I doubt that it would just all of the sudden leak at a water pump gasket. It more than likely is the intake manifold gasket or the water pump itself.
When my intake manifold gasket started to go on my 2000 Bravada, it leaked down under the A/C compressor and the first place you could see the leak was next to the driver side water pump passage. Well, that is without looking at it with a mirror under the A/C compressor.

Well its the water pump… got a better look at it today, so I’m taking it to have it fixed on Thursday… its one of tho’s projects I wish I had time to do myself, but I’m leaving for Texas in a week for school and just don’t kno if I would have time to do it… plus its right on the edge of my ability mechanics wise…
