The 2nd gens are built with that is called a "throw away radiator", meaning that the end caps on the left and right side are plastic. I was going crazy due to a leak I could not find, but it ended up being the leftside endcap had to cracks it in that were not visible while the radiator was in the truck.

Thats when mine started to over heat, did a flush to get the dex crap out, week afterwards started to lose coolant, then it got worse to were it was over heating, could not see exactly were it was coming from, dripping off back of motor somewhere.did a pressure test(friend had a pressure tester that goes on your radiator cap) then with the motor off i could hear it hissing, turned out the intake gasket went, leaking out in the front by thermostat running along intake then dripping in the back. That fixed my overheating now i have other problems!!
