coolant over flow tank

whats the best way to clean these out? the PO ran that radiator stop leak stuff in it because the water pump was leaking i replaced the pump and flushed the hell outta the coolant but i didnt add anything to the overflow tank cause its just straight black in there any ideas on what to use its currently in my sink getting flushed with hot water and dawn dish soap any better ideas???

Best way that I have found is to get some CLR, a bag of marbles, and a cut up t-shirt. Remove the overflow bottle from the truck, pour in some CLR, marbles, & strips of a cut up t-shirt into the overflow and maybe add some water. Plug off all of the holes and shake vigorously. Rinse well before putting it back in the truck.

just a little up date i used a camelbak cleaning kit that i got from when i was in the army worked great it came with 2 tablets and a big scrub brush and a little scrub brushed used both tablets and the little brush fit in both tube outlets worked great inside looks allmost new i dont know how well the clr thing works cause i didnt have any but this worked get
