Coolant Sensor, Temp gauge, No Heat!

Heater core
The coolant was a little low. I added about 3/4 of a gallon. My problem is I don't see any wetness either on the ground under the vehicle or on the floor inside. Where is it going? I do have a slight odor of antifreeze in the car. I can see fine when the weather is dry but when it is raining it is difficult to see more than a few miles without putting the seat up and wiping the windshield when it fogs up. I am going to search the web for that bulletin.

the core is not as bad to change as you would think. i had one go bad in my s10 and a buddy and i changed it in about 4 hours when the shop said it was an 8 hour job. even if it takes 2 days it still is better than takin it to the shop and payin the big bucks.

Thanks for all the usefull info. I'm having the same problem with NO heat....I'm getting fast at replacing thermostats. I'll try the garden hose trick for flushing the heater core. The temp guuge only gets up to around 160, and it's something to try that's a cheap fix.
I'm new to this, but have already read lots of good posts.
