Default Coolant Temp X 2 readings

1995 gmc jimmy 4.3 l vortek 4wd

Seeing that my Engine Block has two similar water jacket temp sensor threaded holes. Similar locations on each side of the block. The stock config is to use engine left side threaded hole for H2O temp sensor.
Right side has a freeze plug or bolted stopper.

I would like to add a second sensor to the Right side.
With this second H2O sensor , would this give any early indication as to a Head Temp variance between te two heads ?

I would say not enough to stop you from blowing anything up. That coolant flows pretty quick and that's the temp your reading. Sure there are plenty of other projects, there certainly are on my 95!!!
