trouble w/IM readings

Default trouble w/IM readings

Im new to this forum
looking for some help
i have a 1999 chevy blazer
my engine took a **** and had it replace
with a 98 4.3runs great but my oil gauge dont read
and my water temp only goes as high as 113
and now i cant pass smog per smog tech guy said i need to run the blazer
more ?????

anyone else had this problem?

Have you made sure that the oil pressure sending unit is plugged in? Or tried replacing either the oil pressure sending unit or the temperature sending unit? Do you know anyone with a full feature scan tool that can see if the PCM is receiving the proper temperature reading?

You must get the engine temperature being read properly before you could ever hope to pass an emissions test.

i have check my temp sending uinit it is getting 5v then i check ohms and it gave out 6.4 ohm and put in hot water and it moves down to 2.4.. i do have a scan tool thats how i knew exact temp was showing up
i have not replace the sending unit or thermastat
yet

dam i guess looking into another furom would be more helpfull
than asking anyone in here!
