corroded contacts in distributer cap
I got corrosion on the contacts of a 6 month old Wells brass contact distributor cap . Would a different brand work better? What is a recommended as best brand distributor cap for my 1997 Blazer?
I have replaced the seal under the distributor cap to keep crankcase gas fumes out, but still have the problem.
Could the problem be caused by a weak coil causing poor spark? The truck runs OK when started, but is having a cold start problem intermittently.
