Couple questions

Hello all, I'm new around here, just bought an 02 Blazer LS today. It drives like a freakin dream but there are some minor issues with it that I was wondering how to go about fixing. First off the driver door sags but from what someone said in another thread here that should be a simple hinge and bushing replacement. Secondly the mirror adjustment switch is kind of screwy, on the driver side it only moves the mirror up and to the left, and on the passenger side it only moves to the right and left I believe, I'm thinking since the door is sagging and letting water in(found this out the hard way in a car wash on the way home..that was fun..) that it's screwing with the switch somehow? Any ideas on anything else that could be causing this? I'll be removing the inside door trim and hitting it with a heat gun tomorrow to see if that'll maybe dry it out and clear that problem up.

yea, its probally going to need door pins and bushings, gald to see new members using the search feature instead of asking a million questions! i would try another switch, possibly from the junkyrad, their fairly cheap there, if its not the switch its probally the motors inside the mirrors themselves also welcome to the forum!

Haha, yeah I've been a member of a few vehicle forums before and the search feature is a godsend. Are the motors easily replaced?

you have to replace the whole mirror assembly

On my 98 blazer the mirrors were doing weird things. You may try pulling the mirror switch apart and clean the contacts on it. The switch is pretty simple to get apart.
