Default crank issue

I got a 98 2dr 4x4 4.3 in which I love and had few issues with. Recently put new plugs/wires, msd ignition,k&n filter, royal purple, ect... I just replaced the fuel pump and filter cus cus the pump kicked out at about 1500,000 which isnt surprising/ every thing connected right and sealed. After priming for a while she started up and ran good once started. *The problem is that it will crank for a while(5-10 seconds) before it will turn over every time.* It has started every time but struggles. The relay and fuses arefine as well as the battery. I am just wondering if it could be the fuel pressure regulator or maybe a leak in the line. I am smelling a fresh gas smell inside the cab occasionally and by the passenger rear wheel well. Any insight would be much appreciated.Though, once started nowthe gas pedal has virtually no dead spots.

No problem! I moved it so that you could get the appropriate information/advice more quickly. Run a search. I'll see what I can dig up once I get done with my other responsibilities today.
