Default cruise help needed

hi, the cruise on my 97 4.3 isn't working. About a year ago, I took it to the shop for a heater core change and it returned with the cruise not working. Any info would be appreciated.
thanks

Default RE: cruise help needed

If the cruise quit working at the same time as the heater core was replaced, I would suggest checking the lower part of the steering column for loose electrical connectors.
There should be 2 large connectors and one small connector coming from the multi function switch, if the one with just 2 wires is disconnected, that's probably it.
Make sure and check the cruise, brake and tcc fuses as well.
