I went with it just because I was on Rock Auto looking to order a radiator, and it was the only all aluminum one they had lol. The stock radiator along with my Intrepid fans does a great job at keeping the 4.3 cool and the AC blowing cold in the Blazer even on the hottest of Florida summer days, but if I'm replacing something like the radiator and have the option to step up and improve it, I'm going to take that route
The all aluminum rad on rock auto isn’t always there when I ordered my rad I couldn’t get it so they must sell out quick

She showed up today. So purdy

You would think that for what you're paying for the radiator that they could throw in a cap too... Oh well, looks like it'll take a factory cap, so I'll pick up a fresh new one in town tomorrow afternoon.

Looks so pretty I’m jealous. Let us know if it still fits your fans perfect

Looks nice!

Be sure to report on the installation. I had to modify my fan shroud.

Also, did it come with a sacrificial electrode?

I plan on trying to make a video for YouTube on it, sort of a review and installation.

I'm running Intrepid fans, so I'm hoping they fit just as well as they do on the stock radiator lol. I still have an upper fan shroud on the setup, or at least the remains of one. I trimmed it down when I installed the Intrepid fans. No longer needed it for cooling, but I wanted to keep it there for some place for the AC lines to rest on. It still sort of helps holds the top of the radiator too, but I also have some aluminum brackets that I fabbed up that do most of the stabilizing of the radiator.

I don't have any photos at the moment of them, but I'll be sure to get some when I install the new radiator. I might end up fabbing up a new mounting system, we'll see

I mounted my fans the same way as u did but have noticed a little bit of rad movement with the shroud only holding it

I was only using the trimmed up upper shroud at first, but yeah I noticed as well that there seemed to be a little more movement than I wanted. So I just bent up a few pieces of aluminum and used them along with the plastic shroud. The brackets are hidden under the shroud. But I'll be sure to get some photos and video of them and how they're installed.
