Default Dash Removal

I am going to be putting in a new cd player this weekend and I need to know how to take the dash apart with out destroying it. Does anyone have pics on how to take it off?

Should just snap off... No pun intended. It has little spring clips that fit into slots... Well, that depends on what year we are talking about... Please specify the year of your blazer.

The dash is many different components all covered by one plastic piece that outlines all components, radio, guages, etc. As swart said, it should just snap off, just start by the door with a flat screwdriver, and be careful.

I've Had Mine Off Many Many Times..... So Around The Gauges And The Heater Contorls Should Pull Off Its One Big Piece But On My 01 Theres Bolts Holding It In Under The Stearing Wheel, THere Should Be One Right Above The Gauges In the Center..... And A Few Bolts Down By The Feet (Driver Side) Like I Said Thats On My 01 I Doun About Yours... I'd Look It Over And C WHat Ya Have To Do Before Start Pulling On Things

If it is a first gen Blazer, open the glove box and remove the two screws to the right of the radio, then pull out the ash tray and remove the one screw on the lower left. There is a tab that hold the upper left in place, no clip, it simply slips out when you pull downward on the bezel.

You guys that have changed out your factory radio on the 2nd gen. Is there any cutting you have to do behind the factory radio to install and aftermarket one? I'm considering upgrading the stereo in our 1995 Blazer.
